
Figo Lau is an economist specialising in econometrics and financial economics. He worked as a researcher at UCL on the ESRC project entitled “The Financialisation of Urban Development and Associated Financial Risks in China”.
Figo holds a PhD in Economics from Royal Holloway, University of London after being awarded an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford and a BSc from RHUL. As a certified ARPM (advanced risk and portfolio manager), Figo aims to apply network theory, machine learning and econometric techniques to study renewable energy financing, sustainable investing and low-carbon transition risks.
