
Dr. Denitsa Angelova received her Diploma in Economics from the Humboldt-University of Berlin and her PhD in Economics from the Martin-Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg in Germany. She worked as a computable general equilibrium modeler at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy and as an econometrician at the Technical University of Munich before joining the Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC) where she focused on the quantification of physical climate risk. At UCL she is a research fellow in transition finance and develops measures for transition climate risk.
